Sophia Hooded Scarf - for whom already loves my best-selling scarf

I’m so excited to finally share this one with you 💛

The Sophia Hooded Scarf has a special place in my heart.

I’ve received so many lovely requests asking me to write a pattern for a hooded scarf using the same design idea as one of my best-selling scarves in my shop. And honestly, I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time too - so it felt like the right moment to bring it to life. 

This design is named Sophia, after a dear friend of mine. I actually cast on the very first stitches while we were on a small picnic together. It was one of those slow, happy days where everything just feels easy… and I remember thinking how special it would be if this little beginning could turn into something meaningful.

I feel so lucky and grateful that this design has been received so warmly 💛

The construction is very simple and relaxing: you work the scarf section, then it naturally transitions into the hood, and finally you repeat the same idea on the other side to create a soft, symmetrical shape.

This pattern is made for beginner to experienced beginner knitters, so it stays easy and enjoyable throughout. As with all my patterns, you’ll also get step-by-step photos and video tutorials for the key techniques, so everything is clear and easy to follow along - even if you’re new to this kind of construction.
