fun pattern and the creator is super friendly and helpful
Thank you so much for your kind words happy knitting
I started making one for my daughter and then set her up to make one with chunky yarn (she's a newer knitter) and she beat me! Hers has gotten tons of complements. Mine is drying now after blocking. It was a little close around the face for her taste, so we suggest sort of testing before attaching and starting to knit in the round. It looks like the blocking is going to loosen things up a bit too.
Thank you so much for your lovely review - I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the pattern. Both hoods look absolutely adorable, and it makes it even more special knowing that you and your daughter had such a fun time creating them together.
You’re right - blocking after knitting can help the hood relax and stretch by about 5–10%, depending on the yarn, and it also makes the stitches look more even and beautiful.
Wishing you a wonderful day and many more cozy knitting moments! ✨
