I am a relative beginner, but this pattern was so well written and well explained that I had no issue understanding it. I am so happy with the outcome

I haven't knitted in years so I wanted to try and do something that wouldn't be too difficult to pick up while also making something I needed for the cold weather. Overall, the instructions are clear, but there is an implication that you at least have some knowledge of knitting even if you are a beginner, I did have to look up other videos as reference but Moc An's videos were great to watch on repeat. I only really had to restart a few times because I was getting used to knitting again but not in relation to following the pattern. I'd recommend also getting a latch crochet hook for when you start attaching i-cords since getting through the folded brim and pulling through the yarn there is challenging. I made this for myself but I would absolutely make this again (even though I don't really need a second one haha)!

I started making one for my daughter and then set her up to make one with chunky yarn (she's a newer knitter) and she beat me! Hers has gotten tons of complements. Mine is drying now after blocking. It was a little close around the face for her taste, so we suggest sort of testing before attaching and starting to knit in the round. It looks like the blocking is going to loosen things up a bit too.
